It has a great suspension and delivers phenomenal handling. A Prelude on asphalt is unbelievable - it does whatever you want it to! Driving a high-powered front wheel drive car aggressively can be intimidating, but unlike most other cars, the Prelude accelerates in a totally straight line making things easier for the driver. During a spirited drive, make sure that you accelerate through the curves - i.e. finish your braking before entering the curve, then accelerate through the curve and your driving experience will be greatly enhanced. Straight from the factory, the Prelude is a very capable car - no real modifications are required in order to really enjoy the vehicle. The original Prelude tires are a good compromise between performance and comfort. If you want to sacrifice some comfort, go with Michelin's Pilots MXX3's - a great high performance street tire. |
